16th February 2025 | The Shack Revolution, Hereford
At Dearest Love Photography, we absolutely love weddings that are full of personality, colour, and heartfelt moments-and Grace & Dave’s incredible day was exactly that.
Set in the heart of Hereford, their wedding at The Shack Revolution was a perfect blend of industrial charm, vibrant details, and meaningful personal touches. With its exposed brick, unique layout, and the friendliest team you could ask for, it was the ideal backdrop for their celebration.
A Relaxed Morning of Bridal Prep
The day began with bridal preparations at a nearby Airbnb, just a five-minute drive from the venue. Grace and her bridesmaids enjoyed a calm, laughter-filled morning, getting ready together before heading over for the ceremony.
Grace looked absolutely stunning, with her hair styled by @jo_ellis_freelancehairdresser and makeup by @makeupbyamym. Her long-sleeved dress from ASOS was effortlessly elegant-and perfectly complemented by her epic white boots from SHEIN.
One of the most emotional moments of the morning was capturing her dad Dave’s first reaction outside The Shack-an unforgettable, heartfelt moment that set the tone for the day.
A Ceremony Filled with Love and Laughter
Although Grace and Dave were legally married in Manchester before the wedding, this celebration was all about sharing their love with family and friends.
Their ceremony, held from 1:30pm, was conducted by two of their closest friends-making it deeply personal, meaningful, and wonderfully unique. Grace was proudly walked down the aisle by her dad, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
The bridesmaids looked incredible in their burnt orange/red brick satin dresses, perfectly matching the bold, colourful vibe of the day.
Confetti, Colour & Creative Details
After the ceremony, guests gathered outside for one of the most magical confetti moments we’ve ever seen. Grace and Dave chose bright, biodegradable paper confetti that filled the air and gently floated down-creating the dreamiest photos.
Their creative spirit was everywhere, especially in their flowers. Made by the couple themselves using faux blooms sourced from a market in Manchester, the arrangements were vibrant, personal, and completely unique to them.
From 2pm to 3:30pm, we captured group photos, relaxed couple portraits, and plenty of candid moments around the venue-making the most of every industrial corner and pop of colour.
Speeches, Food & Heartfelt Moments
Guests were seated at 3:30pm, ready for a delicious wedding breakfast. Grace and Dave treated everyone to an incredible beef roast dinner-honestly, one of the best we’ve ever had!
Speeches followed shortly after (3:45–4:15pm), kicking off the evening with laughter, tears, and plenty of heartfelt stories about the couple.
An Epic Evening Celebration
As evening arrived, the dancefloor came alive. From 7pm, guests filled the space with energy, leading up to Grace and Dave’s first dance at 7:30pm.
Kerri then went on to capture those epic, joy-filled dancefloor shots that perfectly reflected their fun-loving personalities.
It was also a pleasure to work alongside the incredibly talented @zanefitzgeraldfilms for the first time-an amazing collaboration that we hope to repeat again soon!
A Personal & Meaningful Wedding
This wedding was especially close to our hearts, as Grace is a distant cousin of Kerri’s. Being trusted to photograph her day-from bridal prep right through to the party-was such an honour.
Grace and Dave created a celebration that truly reflected who they are: bright, creative, loving, and full of life. Every detail, from handmade flowers to colourful confetti and personal vows, told their story beautifully.
Thank You, Grace & Dave 🤍
